tecBRIDGE is pleased to announce our finalists for the 15th annual Business Compeition.
(In alphabetical order), the collegiate division finalists are: Fader Plugs (East Stroudsburg University), Grown Green (Marywood University), MelonDropp (King’s College), T&F Products (Marywood University), Xenoil (Wilkes University)
In the non-collegiate division, the finalists are: Cracked Innovations, Cubbie Rides, NEPA Fiber, Nodin, and Tunefly.
In total, 19 business plans were submitted from higher education and early-stage firms, including participants from East Stroudsburg, Marywood, King’s College, Penn State – Worthington Scranton, Penn State – Hazelton, the University of Scranton, and Wilkes University.
Finalists will film videos to be shared online, Friday April 14th. Be sure to check back on the BPC website in a week to see the finalists’ great ideas, energy and passion. Entrepreneurship is alive and well in NEPA!
On Monday, April 17th, finalists will make their live pitch presentations to a panel of judges at Misericordia University, sponsored by FNCB.
Competition winners will be announced at this year’s Awards Dinner on Thursday, April 27th at Mohegan Sun Pocono Downs Hotel. Finalists will greet guests, beginning at 5 p.m. and attendees will vote with their “tecBUCKS” to select the Wildcard Winner. Division and Wildcard Winners will share more than $100,000 in cash and in-kind servies.
