Mandy Pennington is a writer, marketer, and teacher with a passion for storytelling. She is the Director of Digital Marketing at Wilkes University and is actively involved with organizations that enrich our region, including the NEPA Tech Meetup and the Scranton Fringe Festival. Mandy is also an award-winning regional actress, playwright, and adjunct instructor at Marywood University in the Communication Arts Department. She co-founded NEPA BlogCon, Northeastern Pennsylvania’s blogging and social media conference, and Squirrel Girls Tech Camp, a STEM initiative for girls in grades 4-6. She lives in Scranton with her husband, Brent, and a very talkative cat named Annie.

As Senior Director of Online Marketing at Web.com, Alicia’s mission is to deliver successful digital marketing strategies that drive real value for small businesses. Alicia has been in the SEO & Social industry for 13 years, valuing authenticity and relationship-building long before the days of Google Panda and Penguin. Alicia is proud of the talented SEO & Social teams she has the honor of working with, providing SMBs with marketing services for all budget ranges. When she’s not running, biking, or skiing, you can find her spending time with her husband, dog, and black cat.

Tucker Hottes is a Manager, Digital Marketing Services for Net Driven in Scranton, PA. His first foray into the digital world was in the mid-90s with a school website for a 7th grade science fair project. More recently, Tucker spent nearly 10 years as Technology Development Manager for Times-Shamrock Communications, helping develop their portfolio of newspaper and other media sites. At Net Driven, he manages the social media, SEO, SEM, content, and local directories/Google My Business teams.

Chris Speicher, Ph.D. is the Director of Entrepreneurship at Marywood University and a serial Entrepreneur. He earned his Doctorate from Temple University while studying the development of Entrepreneurs in Central and Eastern Europe in the 1990’s. Speicher has been involved in over 25 startups in his career.

Chris is currently the Chief Visionary Officer at DartDrones, the largest national drone flight school in the US, which was featured on Shark Tank in February of 2017.

Matt is the co-founder and CEO of Summa, Inc., a patient/personal data capture technology company. Summa’s minimum viable product, the Summa System, helps academics and clinicians perform human subject research and manage patient populations by increasing access to data, enabling novel research and management methods, and reducing participant recruitment-to-data collection time. Matt co-founded Summa with fellow medical student Evan porter in August 2017. Summa participated in the 16th and 17th TecBRIDGE Business Plan Competitions and were named finalists then wild card winners, respectively. Summa has also been recognized by the International Forum for Advancements in Healthcare (IFAH) as a top 100 innovator and the National Science Foundation (NSF) for completion of the NSF Innovation Corp short course program.

Matt graduated from Ursinus College with a B.S. in biochemistry & molecular biology and from Drexel Dornsife School of Public Health with a MPH in health management and policy. Matt is currently a rising 4th year MD candidate at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. In addition to entrepreneurship, Matt is involved in organized medicine with the Pennsylvania Medical Society and American Medical Association. He served as a Pennsylvania Medical Society Board Trustee from October 2018 to October 2019 and sat on the legislative advocacy task force. Matt currently serves on the Pennsylvania Medical Society health information technology and corporate medicine task forces. Matt looks forward to continuing his work with Summa and leveraging his experience in entrepreneurship, clinical medicine, and healthcare policy to positively impact the community.

Alison Skoff (GUIDE Co-founder) is a successful entrepreneur who built a network marketing health and wellness business with over $1.5MM in annual revenue (Top 1% earner) and a team of more than 6,500. She is a Professional Life Coach with over 1,000 hours of coaching and training, a member of Forbes Coaches Council and a member of the International Coach Federation. She graduated from the University of Scranton (B.S.). She has completed comprehensive personal development work including an intensive 12-month Coach Training Program through Accomplishment Coaching, Landmark, and has worked with numerous mentors, coaches and guides.

Zach Waldman is Computer Scientist and Entrepreneur who graduated from East Stroudsburg University with dual majors in Computer Science and Cybersecurity. He is an experienced technologist having worked for both IBM and Lockheed Martin before founding Falchion Systems. A cybersecurity startup preventing phishing and social engineering from hurting businesses.
