It’s been a busy few weeks for Cracked Innovations.
Since taking home first place in the non-collegiate division at the 2017 Business Plan Competition, Cracked Innovations is excited to announce the launch of their new app, WhatNow.
WhatNow is an exciting new event-based social media app designed to bring people together based on common interests. Whether that’s seeing a local band play downtown, or walking through Nay Aug Park, you can find people who want to do the same thing on WhatNow.
While the app is currently available on iOS and Android devices, it hasn’t been all walks in the park for Kevin Granville and Candace Allen, co-founders of Cracked Innovations.
“It’s been a long process to get WhatNow off the ground,” said Kevin. “We had the idea more than two years ago, and when you finally get something like that launched, it feels like you’re at the end of the race when you realize it’s just beginning.”
To celebrate, Cracked Innovations is throwing a launch party at Kildare’s Irish Pub in Scranton on July 27th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. with live music from three local bands, food and drink specials and more.
“We really just wanted to take a breath and celebrate all the hard work that’s been put in, and show some recognition to our investors who have hung with us throughout this process,” Candace said.
