Become a volunteer for Girls Code Camp July 13-17! Spend an hour or a day helping to bring STEM ideas to our youth.
About Squirrel Girls Tech Camp:
Squirrel Girls Tech Camp offers girls in grades 4 through 6 the opportunity to explore STEM topics in an encouraging, creative, and confidence-building environment, at Lackawanna College.
A variety of media and hands-on activities, including experiences in 3D printing, computer science and programming, animation, game creation, digital music, robotics, internet safety, and digital etiquette are on the week long Squirrel Girls Tech Camp itinerary, in addition to crafts, making new friends, and a lot of fun!
Participants will end the week by receiving a 16-week age / level appropriate Tynker Learning Systems computer programming course to continue the journey and fun at home.
The inclusive camp is open to the first 20 registrants. A limited number of scholarships are available for families that require assistance with the registration fee, thanks to the generous support of NEPA BlogCon attendees and sponsors.
